Arts Confab-ulous
Hi all –
I just wanted to make sure you knew about the new “Arts Confab-ulous” get-togethers, sponsored by The Arts Partnership. Many of you remember the “good old days” when leaders from all the arts organizations were reps to Lake Agassiz Arts Council and would gather once a month to share notes on what everyone was doing. Many amazing ideas and collaborations bubbled up as a result, not to mention the opportunity to take time to get to know our colleagues in the arts community. Arts groups are taking turns hosting these once-a-month events, and the F-M Symphony is looking forward to hosting the May get-together. We have improved on the old model by providing wine and hors d’oeuvres PLUS our wonderful concertmaster, Ben Sung, will treat us to a short, informal performance. We'll also be giving away two tickets to Wine and Beer on the Red as door prizes - bring your business card for the drawing! Mark your calendars: Thursday, May 27, at 4 p.m. in Marjorie Schlossman's Roberts Street Chapel, 624 4th Ave. N., Fargo (it's the pink building on the corner). Feel free to bring members of your staff or board if you like - I hope to see you there!
Linda
