Ms. Heggestad will present a workshop on 'collagraph' open to the general public and NDSU art students January 15-16 at Renaissance Hall. Hours are 7-9 PM on Friday and 9 AM-Noon on Saturday. The public is also invited to observe PEARS intern Judith Feist and NDSU art students while they edition for Ms. Heggestad beginning Wednesday evening from 6-9PM and continuing for several days at Renaissance Hall. Editioned prints will be available for sale beginning February at NDSU Visual Arts and P.E.A.R.S.

Susan Heggestad is a non-traditional printmaker that is not interested in creating multiples, which is the typical definition of the medium. Rather, she is drawn to the endless potential for variations on a theme offered by printmaking. Her mixed-media prints are one of a kind works that begin with a limited number of collagraphic plates.
